The rule will be communicated to the parties to Small Claims cases via the Directions questionnaire (small claims track). From: Justice for Victims N200: Directions questionnaire (small claims track.) For those seeking to lodge a claim, the forms below should be used as a guide only.  The Justice for Victims website is no longer being updated with form information. Please contact the nearest Small Claims center or HM Courts & for further information. 1. N200—Directions questionnaire (small claims track; Directions questionnaire).  There is a form for the Directions questionnaire (Small Claims Track) (N200): Directions questionnaire (small claims track).  This form should be provided by both parties in any claim before the judge at a small claims hearing. The judge will then give directions to defendants and the claimant in respect of the small claims case.  The new rule is proposed to replace the existing rules and will allow both parties to provide additional information relevant to the matter. Both parties must provide the new information required and may not include any information which is irrelevant to the claim or cannot be given for the following reasons: the information is not correct (because the court does not have authority to know this) or it is not relevant to the claim (such as the cost of postage). The directions judge may grant one or both parties further directions about the matter, and may also vary any directions given. When the directions judge give directions there may not be a further time limit for the case or other conditions on payment. The court can also provide a decision for each of the parties. The Directions questionnaire (small claims track) is a simple question which will ask a question such as “What is your name?” to which the witness will be called to give an answer. The judge must decide the order in which the witness gives the answer. Any directions given at a hearing cannot be appealed. Once both parties have completed the N200, the other parties are required to take the form and provide an answer to the question asked.  2.
